Payment Policy
Online fee payments processed securely through Razorpay.
1. Introduction
This Payment Policy describes how Vidyarthi Sahayyak Samiti Warora accepts online fee payments through Razorpay Software Private Limited ("Payment Processor") on the portal at https://dnyanda.vss.ac.
This document is provided for transparency and to meet payment aggregator disclosure requirements. It supplements our Terms of Service and Refund & Cancellation Policy.
2. Accepted Payment Methods
Available methods depend on Razorpay configuration and may include UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, wallets, and other RBI-approved instruments displayed at checkout.
3. How Payments Are Processed
- You select fee items in the portal and are redirected to a secure Razorpay-hosted or embedded checkout.
- Vidyarthi Sahayyak Samiti Warora does not collect or store full card numbers, CVV, or UPI PIN on its servers.
- Razorpay processes payment data in accordance with PCI-DSS and applicable RBI guidelines. See https://razorpay.com/privacy/
- Upon success, the portal updates the student fee ledger and issues a receipt reference.
- Failed or abandoned transactions do not constitute payment until confirmed successful.
4. Security
Always verify that the payment page displays a secure connection (HTTPS) and that you are on https://dnyanda.vss.ac before entering payment details. Report suspicious payment links to dnyanda@vss.ac immediately.
Never share OTP, UPI PIN, or card details with anyone claiming to be school staff — legitimate fee requests are made only through the official portal.
5. Convenience Fees & Taxes
Any payment convenience fee, if applicable, is displayed before you confirm payment. GST or other taxes on fees follow the Institution's published fee structure and applicable law.
6. Reconciliation & Receipts
Payments may take a short time to reflect in the portal while the gateway confirms settlement. If a successful payment is not credited within 48 hours, email dnyanda@vss.ac with the Razorpay payment ID and bank SMS/screenshot.
7. Limitation
Vidyarthi Sahayyak Samiti Warora is responsible for fee accounting and refunds per institutional policy. Razorpay Software Private Limited is responsible for payment rail operation subject to its terms: https://razorpay.com/terms/
